OperaTor 2.6P - Test version 3

This test release aims to fix the following issues:

  • if you execute more than one instance of OperaTor, Tor and Polipo remain running after you exit OperaTor
  • on some machines, if you download a file, OperaTor saves the profile folder to the same location

Please download OperaTor 2.6P Test 3 and report your findings.

Test version updated again!

I've figured out that the

I've figured out that the \profile\cache4\ directories that OperaTor is creating are not random. They appear in whatever directory pops up first in the “save as” dialog, probably as part of opera's instant download feature, where it starts downloading while you decide where to save the file. Also, if I choose another directory, other than the one that the download began in (and got the superfluous cache4 directory), then the download will stop with an error and I will need to restart it.

I'm not having the same

I'm not having the same problem in the 2.6 test2 version. I'm not sure if it's because it's been corrected, or if I just haven't gotten to the point that the conditions are right. Maybe if you give me a new download to test that undoes your corrections, I can test to see if I get the problem again. That would confirm that whatever you changed actually fixed the problem.

2.5Pb

Maybe if you give me a new download to test that undoes your corrections, I can test to see if I get the problem again.

Just download the same file using the 2.5Pb version.
