encrypted link...

Many yo's t'ya:

I have just down loaded and used Opera Tor for the first time, and other than being slow it seemed to work just fine. My question is this: It's my understanding that when using Opera Tor the link between my computer and the first relay is encrypted… but I don't see the little golden padlock icon at the bottom of the page that indicates an encrypted connection. I've checked the Proxy and everything else, all seems to be working properly. Am I transmitting in the clear until I get into the first relay?
