BUG: TOR.EXE and POLIPO.EXE not Closing

Sorry, I posted this on the comments page before I saw the message requesting that bugs be posted here… :-(

I am using OperaTor 3.2. When I exit, I see a small window with a progress bar appear saying “Please wait while Operator exits” and showing various messages while the exit process completes (I believe the messages include “Closing Tor” and “Closing Polipo”).

Unfortunately, neither Tor nor Polipo ever close properly. After exiting OperaTor, both tor.exe and polipo.exe are left running. And if I then try to restart OperaTor later without first terminating those processes manually (through Task Manager), I get warnings about Tor and Polipo already running and then OperaTor will not work properly (browsing fails).

Also, every time I restart OperaTor, an additional separate instance of polipo.exe will be left active (though only one instance of tor.exe will remain).

FYI, I'm on XP SP3 and no other software is using Tor or Polipo.

Any chance this can be fixed?

Also, will you be releasing a new version which uses Opera 9.6?

Thank you.
